Joe Grey can’t believe his human housemate Clyde even would consider volunteering him for the animal therapy program at the local medical home, just when Joe was over the verge of resolving the string of burglaries that has Molena Stage residents shaking within their collective shoes. But it works out it’s Dulcie, Joe’s quite small cat-friend, who developed the thought of subjecting Joe to the cooing attentions of the bunch of doddering old coots. Dulcie thinks there’s more taking place at the previous folks’ home compared to the treatment and feeding of lonely elderly people. And she requirements Joe’s assist in getting to the bottom of a conspiracy … and an extremely suspicious group of deaths.
