Every century, tradition dictates that eligible females in Sweetwater assemble for the choosing ceremony. Two vampire kings have separate territories within the surrounding countryside. Both are eager to pick their future brides.

Tanya is probably the many women at the choosing ceremony. As far as she’s concerned it’s an obsolete, sexist event and if it wasn’t necessary she so wouldn’t be right here. It’s not important that the two males are ridiculously about Chosen by the Vampire Kings rich and handsome.

Deep straight down she knows an ordinary Jane like her will never be picked by among the kings in any case. Lots of the women in the town square are stunningly gorgeous and model thin. Most seem enthusiastic about being truly a queen actually if it means becoming mated to a blood sucker, which fits her just great.

Imagine her amaze though when King Brant sets his sights firmly on her behalf. Once a vampire ruler has decided, there’s no heading back. But her home is within Sweetwater. Being forced to live amongst the vampire varieties . big gulp . . . compelled to mate with a vampire . . . isn’t what she had at heart for herself.

Maybe she may convince him to let her go, to pick again. If not really, she’ll need to find a way to escape his-very muscled and rather delicious-clutches.
