On Skaro, the home world of the Daleks, the physician encounters the militaristic Movellans – who’ve arrive to Skaro on the secret objective – whilst his companion Romana falls into the hands from the Daleks themselves. It soon becomes apparent the fact that Daleks have came back to their forgotten home city with an essential objective, one that they hope gives them the benefit within a tactical war. When the physician realises what the Daleks are up to, he’s compelled to intervene. But he hasn’t bargained for the Movellans using a few secrets of their own, and quickly he, Romana as well as the individual refugee Tyssan are questioning who exactly they can trust. Furthermore, will they be able to avert the Daleks using their self-proclaimed destiny? Lalla Ward narrates this traditional full-cast TV adventure, written by Terry Nation, and in a special bonus interview she recalls her period as Romana in the BBC Television series.
