Young Ruler Henry VI has wedded the beautiful Margaret of Anjou but the brand-new queen is definitely ruthless and ambitious. Backed by the effective Duke of Suffolk, Margaret plots the overthrow of her opponents, chief among them the Duke of Gloucester. However the Duke of York also aspires to the crown, and the normal people, led by Jack port Cade, are in rebellion. To the despair of the mild young king, England descends into civil battle.
