Man Carson is a brilliant scientist in GeneDyne, among the world’s most important biochemical companies. When he’s transferred to Mount Dragon, GeneDyne’s high-security genetic engineering lab, his fortune seems too good to be true. Carson quickly finds that it is. He learns that GeneDyne geneticists are tinkering with a common trojan with an attention on the enormous profit to be enjoyed from a cure for the flu. Their treat involves permanently changing DNA in humans, and Carson’s job is certainly to stabilize the trojan.
