Christmas is here in sleepy McGill, Georgia, but vacation cheer can’t preserve temperamental Stella Reid from swinging a rolling pin in anyone who crosses her poor side. This year, there are plenty. First, an anonymous grinch vandalizes a famous nativity display. Significantly even worse, the scandalous Prissy Carr is found dead within an alley behind a tavern. With police puzzled on the murder, Stella decides to stir the local gossip pot for clues for the culprit’s identity, and as it happens that Prissy kept a prominent i’m all over this the naughty list. Quickly, suspects are turning up like presents on Xmas morning. Unfortunately, the more progress Stella makes, the greater she must confront. Using a neighbor in peril and the continuing future of her beloved grandchildren at risk, Stella must in some way set everything straight and provide a cunning legal to justice before December 25th…
