On Liberty Audiobook is a philosophical function by British philosopher John Stuart Mill, originally intended as a short essay. The work, released in 1859, applies Mill’s honest system of utilitarianism to culture and the condition. Mill attempts to determine standards for the partnership between authority and liberty. He stresses the need for individuality which he conceived like a prerequisite to the higher pleasures—the summum bonum of Utilitarianism. Furthermore, Mill criticized the errors about On Liberty By John Stuart Mill of previous attempts to defend individuality where, for instance, democratic ideals resulted in the “tyranny of the majority”.
