Othello, a Moorish general in the service of Venice, offers married Desdemona, beautiful girl of a Venetian senator. But Iago, Othello’s malignant ensign, is set to destroy their pleasure. Cunningly twisting Othello to his very own reasons, Iago persuades the Moor that Desdemona is definitely unfaithful to him. Tormented inside a hell of jealousy, Othello moves inexorably toward the damage of his innocent wife and himself.

Othello is played by Don Warrington, David Threlfall is Iago, Anne-Marie Duff is Desdemona, and Jasper Britton has Cassio.
