Dorothy Gale, on the voyage at sea, is usually tossed overboard throughout a storm. She is washed ashore at Ev, a nation neighboring Oz, where she meets up with her aged close friends the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, as well as the Cowardly Lion. She also meets Ozma, the new Princess of Oz, who has come to Ev on the mission of her very own, which will provide them all in contact with the nefarious Nome King.
