Tragedy offers struck the Harrigans-Quincy’s beloved sister-in-law Loni is gravely sick and nearing loss of life. Quincy, like his brothers, feels helpless to save her, and the clock is certainly ticking. After that, with ideal timing, a winsome red-haired woman called Ceara O’Ceallaigh mysteriously shows up on Quincy’s home and insists that Loni can be cured. Just Quincy, she says, as the only real staying Harrigan bachelor, can make it happen-by marrying Ceara. To Quincy, Ceara is a charming and quite likely deranged spinner of dreams who can’t confirm she’s telling the reality. But how do he avoid any attempt to bring back Loni to wellness? Against all better wisdom, he decides to marry Ceara. Probably he’s making the most severe mistake of his existence.
