In “Piper in the Woods”, an army doctor is asked to take care of a soldier from Asteroid Y-3 who claims he’s a flower. This wouldn’t be a problem, however the soldier can be incapable of any exercise, preferring to stand still and point himself towards sunlight. When more soldiers come back from Asteroid Y-3 also claiming to be vegetation, Dr. Harris moves there to investigate. While there, he discovers about a secret indigenous people living in the woods known as “Pipers”, who might be able to shed some light on the subject.
