Killing the queen of NEW YORK has added a million new responsibilities to Shara Isador’s list. The previous queen’s Blood must be dealt with before they switch thrall. The queens Keisha Skye coerced into sibling human relationships must either become formally sworn to accommodate Isador or freed. Though Shara can’t in good conscience enable anyone into her house who took component in the rampant torture where Home Skye indulged.

While every single day, Shara feels the weight of the crimson serpent coiled around her throat. The goddess’s gift increases heavier with every transferring instant. If she doesn’t take action, the serpent will consume everything she loves. But if she goes after Ra as guaranteed, someone she loves quite definitely will die.

Some of her Blood will gladly pay out that cost, but Shara loves them too much to even consider losing one of them.
