Magic is risen.

When magic returned towards the world, it might have saved mankind, but greed and thirst for power caused mankind’s downfall rather. Now once-human monsters called Howls prowl empty streets, their hunger led by corrupt necromancers as well as the all-powerful Kin. Only Hunters have the energy to fight in the unending battle, using the same magic that ended civilization to begin with.

However they are losing.

Tenn is a Hunter, resigned to combat even though hope is nearly lost. When he’s singled out with a seductive Kin named Tom‡s and the enigmatic Hunter Jarrett, Tenn realizes he’s become a pawn within a larger game. One which could change the tides of war. But if his mutinous magic and wayward heart get in the way, his power is probably not used in favour of mankind.

If Tenn does not play his component, it could price him his friends, his lifestyle…and the whole planet.
