For nine months Britain continues to be occupied – a blitzed, stressed out and dingy nation. Nevertheless, it’s ‘business as typical’ at Scotland Yard run by the SS when Detective Inspector Archer is assigned to a regular murder case. Life must continue.

But when SS Standartenfuhrer Huth arrives from Berlin with orders from the great Himmler himself to supervise the analysis, the resourceful Archer finds himself swept up in a higher level, all action, espionage fight.
