I grinned within my friend. “Unwind Mandy. Old Mr. Gerald isn’t going to state a word. I’ve seen just how he’s been looking at me. I decided to provide him something to look at.”

We walked in to the meeting room and sat down. I lay my notebook up for grabs, ready to take down notes. Mandy glanced at me.
