When Christopher Hostettler comes from Ohio to work at his uncle’s shop in Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania, he gets away on the wrong foot with Emily Fisher. However when he finally opens up to her about his tragic reasons for leaving home, her heart begins to change.

When Christopher compliments a vintage quilt, Emily decides to produce a similar quilt for Christopher being a gesture of a friendly relationship. Emily knows she must guard her center, as Christopher isn’t a baptized person in the cathedral, but she’s abruptly found somebody with whom she can imagine sharing a future. When a family members emergency phone calls Christopher back home to Ohio, Emily decides to complete the quilt, regardless of her pain, and send out it to him for Xmas. However when Christopher receives it, will he have the courage to seriously follow his heart?
