Broadcast from New York, it featured the largest celebrities from stage, display screen and radio including Orson Welles, Burgess Meredith, Agnes Moorehead, Frank Lovejoy, Elsa Lanchester, Joseph Cotten, Richard Widmark, Art Carney, Charles Laughton, Vincent Price and Laurence Olivier.
