Pursuing an inexplicable urge, Ted Barton comes back to his idyllic Virginia hometown for a vacation, but when he gets there, he’s shocked to learn that the town provides utterly changed. The shops and houses are different and he doesn’t understand anybody. The secret deepens when he checks the town’s historic information…and reads that he died nearly two decades previous.
