Freddy, Phil and Don are 3 grumpy old guys, travelling at several rates of speed in the gradual lane of retirement, at a loss to understand the mad contemporary globe around them.

Their chosen approach to escape from all of this is a shared weekly hike in the Peak District, come gale, hail, snow or torrential rainfall. They pass the time bumping into colourful and eccentric locals, but their actual passion is definitely bickering among themselves. Not merely about your path to take, but also about where they’re all heading at about The Hike the fag end of life. Phil likes to dash up hillsides trying to defeat his personal greatest, while Freddy plots how to sabotage him – teasing him at leisure and requesting deep and challenging questions. Stuck in the centre, Don’s only ambition is to stop the squabbling getting out of hand long enough to discover a good pub for lunch.
