Lilac is the daughter from the richest man in the world. Tarver comes from nothing, a young battle hero who discovered long ago that girls like Lilac are even more difficulty than they’re well worth. But with only one another to depend on, Lilac and Tarver must interact, producing a tortuous trip across the eerie, deserted surfaces to get help.
