They know him for what he’s…a Berserker, person who feeds within the blood of vampires. Evading the lair that pursues him, he looks for a safe haven and discovers others of his kind and sympathizers. Johnny and his newfound group form an urgent alliance. One of his members has ties to a coven of witches who have been tracking their efforts to escape. Their journey is normally fraught with risk. Tensions are relieved as associates succumb to sexual attraction and give food to each other’s hungers on the way. The way could be perilous but being truly a vampire provides its rewards.
