Many centuries have passed since the young night elf Malfurion Stormrage became the main hero in War from the Ancients . Having kept both his people and the world of Azeroth in the demons of the Burning Legion, Malfurion wanted to start existence anew along with his much loved Tyrande Whisperwind, high priestess of the moon goddess. But the nightmares began-nightmares that spread across the world-and they seemed to originate in one of probably the most sacred locations recognized to the druids. Struggling to decipher the reason for these nightmares, the fantastic archdruid dared to cast his astral type into the befouled, mystical realm…and then became lost.

Now, along with his physical body laying comatose, a search commences to discover Stormrage’s destiny and, when possible, initiate his rescue. However the threat that has taken the archdruid is normally more powerful than ever…and it may be up to Malfurion to rescue two worlds and everyone in them-though the battle may ultimately cost him the one he holds most dear.
